Tragedy strikes India and Andhra Pradesh by Ashwin Nallari

The union government headed by Shri Manmohan Singh and led by Smt Sonia Gandhi had bowed down to the threats of TRS goons and have initiated a process of destruction on United India. The biggest mistakes in the post Independent India were

1.Dividing the country on Religious basis

2.Dividing the country on linguistic basis

3.Extending the reservations beyond the limits

4.Lack of Judicial accountability

5.Bringing Judiciary and Law and order under political administration- Thanks to Indira Gandhi

6.Continuing with the British Administrative system in the Indian defence services and the system of orderlies

7. Clinging on to USSR for too long without any assurances and destroying the FAIR TRADE entrepreneur spirit

8. Repeated Bandhs, strikes , rokos of all kinds hampering the daily wage earner. Thanks to REDS

9. Non Implementation of Technology to advance reforms at grass root levels

10.Not extending reservations to ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD CLASSES

11. Inefficient electioneering process

12.Non accountability and lack of effective punishment to the Central and State administrative personnel -white elephants milking away the TAX PAYER's money

13.Concentrated urban centric development rather than horizontal semi urban- rural development

What will be future of A.P.? The Big fight begins now who is going to control Hyderabad. Will the people of Andhra and Rayalseema agree? is the moot point. What categorical assurances can be taken from future Telangana rulers that they will not hamper and destroy the progress of Non Telangana residents in Hyderabad and also in their Telangana area. My reasoning is that the present struggle is because the present and erstwhile upper caste landlords of Telangana were unable to digest the progress and the gradual development of the Telanganite from "nee kaal moktha baanchan" to emerging centre for call centre,BPO,KPO,Engineering,Pharma, etc industries. These landlords were deprived of their daily labour and this was being eroded fast and these UPPER CASTE LANDLORDS,POLITICIANS, BUREAUCRATS AND BUSINESSMEN have calculatedly misled , misinformed and confused the average Telanganite in the name of G.O.610 and government jobs to all.Assuming that government jobs is given to all where will the finances come from? .As of now the A.P.Treasury is empty thanks to YSR's policies. The Future as I foresee is

1.Non Telanagana properties will come under scrutiny

2.Every Local goon will harass Non Telanganites

3.More Madhu Kodas will hog the Tax payer's money

4. Reduction of schools, hospitals and increase of Toddy compounds, belt shops

5.Zero administration and they will go back to Telugu medium of instruction in all spheres

6. Zero International Investment

7. Zero Tourism development due to constant fights from Maoists, BJP- OWAISI ,Upper castes vs Lower castes

8. The Metro of Hyderabad that was as GHMC will be splintered and will bite the dust

9. TOTAL ANARCHY will prevail and will compete to be the worst state in the country

God Save India , God Save A.P..

Resolution will be moved in A.P. Assembly: Chidambaram

Ending an impasse: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao ends his fast by accepting a glass of lime juice from party leaders and others at the NIMS in Hyderabad on Thursday.
NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday night announced that the process of forming the State of Telangana would be initiated and an appropriate resolution moved in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

Home Minister P. Chidambaram, who announced this after a day of hectic parleys, was, however, non-committal on when the resolution would be moved.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, the Congress blinked after a series of meetings in the face of escalating violence in Andhra Pradesh and several appeals to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao to call off his 11-day fast. He has since called off his fast.

Further, according to the Minister, the Centre has requested the Chief Minister to withdraw all cases filed on or after November 29, 2009, against all leaders, students and others associated with the agitation. “The Chief Minister has informed us that he will take necessary steps in this regard,” Mr. Chidambaram added.

Stating that the government was very concerned about the health of Mr. Rao, the Minister requested him to withdraw his fast immediately. He also appealed to all sections, specifically students, to withdraw the agitation and help restore normality.

Earlier during the day, Congress leaders were said to have contacted the TRS leadership with the offer of Assembly resolution, even as some of them met MPs from Rayalseema and coastal Andhra in an effort to bring them round.

Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, who reached the capital in the afternoon, was also called in for discussions by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, while pro and anti-Telangana MPs of the party approached the leadership with their petitions.

As the agitation was spearheaded by students and their leadership was still emerging, the government found itself hemmed in because there was no clear point person to whom its emissaries could speak to defuse the situation.

Political vacuum
For the Congress, the resurgence of the movement for Telangana is a stark reminder of the political vacuum created in the State by the death of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. This sudden spurt is being attributed to efforts by the TRS and other forces sidelined in the YSR era to stage a comeback, after the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections signalled the thumbs-down for the movement.

The election results were cited time and again by the Congress as a testimony to the fact that statehood for Telangana did not have the kind of support it once had. At the same time, the Congress conceded the differences within the State unit on the issue.
